There is nothing quite like walking on an old elephant trail to a scenic spot under a Baobab Tree that might be a thousand years old, to sleep out on comfortable bedrolls, listening to the sounds of a wild African night. Such joys unseen since the grand old days!

This is big game country. Especially as the dry season bites and wildlife concentrates around dwindling water sources.  At this time, lion prides on the terraces of the Zambezi River and the nearby Chitake Springs are thrown into close proximity, with one another and with other large mammals, often making walks and gamedrives a primeval experience.  Hwange National Park alone has over forty thousand elephants.  A place to sit quietly in a ‘blind’ on some remote pan while some of the largest bulls on the continent peacefully drink, seemingly oblivious to your presence.  In the lowveld of southeast Zimbabwe, we track Black Rhino in the Savé Valley and sleep-out in the stunning wilderness of Gonarezhou National Park.  Nearby, the Matobo Hills are 3,000 square kilometres of exposed granite whose caves are adorned with rock art that will connect you with the very roots of humanity!
